I guess Benson running it down their throats for 39 yards was "cheap" also. They won by 10.

Sam M.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7877891597921399150.post-83935569061783811152011-09-20T11:27:19.085-04:002011-09-20T11:27:19.085-04:00Bah - they won because they ran a quick play for a...Bah - they won because they ran a quick play for a cheap touchdown while the Browns were still in the huddle!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7877891597921399150.post-22062003924929204172011-09-20T11:16:30.574-04:002011-09-20T11:16:30.574-04:00@ Al Wild - All valid points! If, as a manager, I have not groomed someone that can take over my job and eventually my boss's, then I'm a poor manager/coach.

Similarly, let's not forget about having a "customer bench". That is, even if your target market is just the big guys, and you have no time for small companies, remember that smaller, more nimble and innovative competitors will happily take that low end business.

In doing so, they are building their future - a future full of smaller companies that will grow in size sufficiently to then be on your radar. But guess what? It will be too late then. You will have enabled a competitor and their business opportunity, and taken away your own future prospects.Al Wildnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7877891597921399150.post-41403677959362879742011-09-20T10:04:09.688-04:002011-09-20T10:04:09.688-04:00Thanks for the insight Stephanie.
